Yeah, know what you mean. Reading the newspapers in Kenya you can experiecen how writing positive news on Africa is quite a challenge. What do you do with 1,500 households who lost there houses and livelihoods in flash floods? New housing looming for rural community? Still you have to look at the bright side. The article in the paper will mobilise relief efforts, and the local MP eventually has to visit the spot in order to keep his seat safe. Then the floods will again make the newspaper. People will get there houses, and they’ll be thanking the incumbant MP.
